Adventure Cycling inspires and empowers people to travel by bicycle.
As a nonprofit organization, Adventure Cycling Association's mission is to inspire and empower people to travel by bicycle. Established in 1973 as Bikecentennial, we are the premier bicycle-travel organization in North America with more than 35 years of experience and 46,500 members.
Cycling one of our routes this summer or passing through Montana? Be sure to visit our headquarters in Missoula.

Adventure Cycling's Programs Routes and Maps
We research and produce cycling maps for the Adventure Cycling Route Network, one of the largest cycling route networks in the world at 41,420 and growing. We are also the lead organization working to create an official U.S. cycling route network, the U.S. Bicycle Route System. Once complete, it will be the largest official cycling route network on the planet.
Every year we lead more than 70 guided tours, including self-contained, inn-to-inn, van-supported, fully-supported, Family Fun, and educational tours.
We publish 9 issues of the award-winning Adventure Cyclist magazine for our members annually.
