:: LEARN MORE ABOUT HUKA DIVING
Molokini is a marine reserve with spectacular water clarity and a pristine coral reef. Rated one of the best snorkeling spots in the world, this reef has a variety of beautiful reef fish and animals. More than 400 varieties of fish are found in the Hawaiian waters and more than 25% of these are endemic, they are found only in Hawaii. Occasionally we see dolphins, Whales, Manta rays, and Hawaiian Monk seals. Between the end of December and the end of April this trip affords a great opportunity to see Humpback whales in the National Marine Sanctuary.
Turtle Arches offers Maui's largest coral reef system nestled in the protected bays at the base of the West Maui Mountains. The caverns and ledges in the coral and lava, as well as the lava fingers nearing the surface create the perfect habitat for sponges, corals, octopus, fish, eels, and shrimp. The highlight of this reef is the number of Green Sea Turtles that gather here to be "cleaned" by fish known as the Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse.
