Guided Group Tours

Maui Ocean Center is designed as a self guided tour complete with Marine Naturalist throughout the park to answer questions and an audio guide with individual exhibit information. Dedicated tours by Marine Naturalist are available during park hours for $70 per hour plus tax in addition to regular admission rates. We recommend one (1) Marine Naturalist per 20 guests.

Maui Ocean Center, Top-Rated Attraction in Hawai'i (Zagat Survey's U.S. Family Travel Guide), provides an up close view of Hawaiian Marine Life without getting wet! To plan your trip to The Hawaiian Aquarium, click on Visitor Information for hours, directions and FAQ. Teachers can visit the Education page for information on Field Trips. For an unforgettable group event, check out Groups and Tours. Find out about our upcoming programs on the News and Calendar page! Reserve a spot on Maui’s most unique scuba dive with Shark Dive Maui™.

Even if you aren’t planning a trip to Maui anytime soon, you can learn about Hawaiian Marine Life with animal facts and photos, discover How to Help preserve oceans and marine life as well as enjoy fun children’s activities on the Just for Kids page!

Maui Visitor Information: Maui Ocean Center, the Hawaiian Aquarium, is a great activity during any vacation to Maui, whether a family vacation, a romantic honeymoon, a relaxing retreat or an adventurous tour. Maui Ocean Center complements many of Maui’s most popular activities, including snorkel trips and whale watches. Visit our Links page to see some of our recommendations on other Maui activities and attractions. The Aquarium is about a half an hour or less from most condos and hotels on Maui; located about 20 minutes from Kihei and 30 minutes from Lahaina.

A note about language: Maui Ocean Center recognizes the need to include grammatical markings in Hawaiian words and text. However, due to web limitations (font availability, site searchability), these markings have been omitted from text-based online information on this website.
