Experience the enchantment of Maui's velvet night sky on this stargazing cruise with Pacific Whale Foundation Eco-Adventures. Here in Hawaii, the most remote island chain in the world, you'll experience brilliant stars from an optimal vantage point. This cruise is timed to coincide with the best stargazing conditions (the "new moon" or "dark of the moon" when the maximum number of stars and planets are usually visible).
Our special guest narrator is Harriet Witt, an international award-winning astronomy writer and speaker, known for her entertaining and informative commentary on the stars. Her writing has been featured in publications including Sky & Telescope and Spirit of Aloha.&
During winter (December through April), we'll lower a hydrophone into the sea, so you can listen to the haunting and mysterious songs of humpback whales in the ocean around us.
This cruise includes:
* Appetizers and desserts including:
* Free full-color marine life poster
