Our Big Island Volcano Adventures
Treat yourself to an extraordinary experience. Imagine your party of up to six people taking the day off to fly to the Big Island and boarding a helicopter to go see the volcano. Your day starts on Oahu as you board your private twin-engine Piper Chieftain and fly in comfort to the Big Island of Hawaii. There are no lines, no waiting, and no TSA hassles. When you arrive on the Big Island your group boards either a Hughes 500 or a Bell 407 helicopter for an adventure like no other.
The total time for the Kilauea Volcano and the Doors Off adventures is approximately four hours; 45 minutes of helicopter flight time and two hours of airplane flight time to and from Kona or Hilo. The total time for the Volcano/Waterfall and the Volcano/Valley Landing is approximately five hours, including the time on the ground for the waterfall or valley picnic.
The volcano adventures are also available from Kauai, Maui, Lanai, and Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu for a slight additional cost. Other custom options are available upon request.
Airplane transportation is provided by Makani Kai Air Charters and the helicopter portion is provided by K&S Helicopters, Inc.
