Kauai has some of the best shore diving in the world. Do not let past bad shore diving experiences deter you. Many of our guests get a funny look on their face when you say shore dive. Not only are there NO long swims to "start diving" (don't forget we are on top of a volcano and it can get deep very quickly), almost all of the shore diving sites are easy entry / exit but have very clear water and abundant sealife as well.

Certified divers explore the wonders and beauty of the sea under the supervision of a dive professional. All guests must complete liability waivers. Divers will possibly encounter sharks, rays, turtles, eels, and other various marine life! PLEASE remember that all check in times are dive site check in times, you will meet us at the DIVE SITE . All of our prices are all inclusive, this includes ALL of the equipment needed for any activity, professional guide, snacks and  drinks. Rating: Easy to Advanced

Depth: 20 to 100+ feet

Location: End of Ahukini Road (Highway 570) off Kuhio Highway (Highway 56), Lihu‘e

Popular as a shore fishing location, this site is very close to the Lihue Airport. A very commonly used shore dive site and exceptionally good with our southern winds. The gradual slope descends farther than necessary but there is plenty to see along the way. On the inside is an old harbor that has a smooth muddy bottom loaded with beautiful Hawaiian Rays. Larger Spotted Eagle Rays are found in schools circling the outer channel. Dolphins frequent this area due to the large amount of fishermen that pass through. This is also an excellent site for night diving with an abundance of nocturnal activity as soon as the sun goes down. A good dive site that is close and easily accessible for beginners.

Time: 8:00 A.M. ONLY - NO WEEKENDS - June - October

Rating: Advanced

Depth: 35 to 70 feet

Wildlife: Turtles, black coral and more!

Location: North Shore, Princeville - State Hwy 560 HI 96754

This is THE site for cavern diving. Even as a local favorite it still remains largely unexplored. A combination of running lava, strong winter winds, and surging currents have created one of the most unique diving experiences in the world. There are currently ~30 separate tunnels that are well documented and commonly explored, and an untold number of those yet to be found.  White tip reef sharks, dolphins, turtles, and plenty of tropical fish are found around the outer rims so there is plenty to see outside the tunnels as well.  Although accessible year round, this site really shines in the calmer seasons and is not safe during stormier conditions. Great dive for advanced cave divers as well as for our underwater photographers looking for a truly unique experience!

Difficulty: Easy to advanced

Depth: 30 to 70 feet.

Location: Hoonani Rd, Koloa

Located in beautiful, sunny Poipu, this is by far the most popular and most diverse shore diving site on Kauai. Protected on all sides from the gentle Hawaiian currents, this site offers nearly anything you could want from a dive site - let alone a shore dive! Many turtles have made their homes in the shallow slopes of this dive and there is plenty to see as soon as you put your mask in the water. Farther out there is an abundance of tropical reef fish, assorted eels and rays, small harmless majestic sharks, and even Humpback whales during the winter months come close to shore to say hello! Popular for a reason, this one dive site offers exactly what any diver is looking for.
