Aloha Kai is literally world famous for its dedication and commitment to providing unparalleled training, adventures and exemplary customer service to all of its guests! We pride ourselves on unrushed, personalized and intimate adventures. Everyone is treated like an old long lost friend, all the while receiving the exemplary customer service they deserve from the highest trained and safest instructors in Hawaii. We truly enjoy what we do and the new friends we make doing it, we like to feel that we are doing something right and it shows:
All of our boat dives leave from Kukuiula Small Boat Harbor in sunny Poipu (NOT Port Allen) PLEASE remember that all check in times are MARINA check in times, you will meet us at the MARINA.
All of our prices are all inclusive, this includes ALL of the equipment needed for any activity, professional guide, snacks and drinks. NO bait and switch and NO hidden fees (not including applicable taxes & gratuity)
We are one of the very few operators on the island with a permit to operate out of Kukuiula Harbor. This allows us to launch much closer to the vast majority of dive sites than other dive boats on the island. The harbor is also only minutes from all resorts in Poipu.
Our newest vessel the "Ocean Odyssey" is a custom built 30' Radon, built right here in Hawaii specifically for Hawaiian waters. Many hours went into the planning and design - and no expense spared in creating the ultimate dive vessel. It's fast, it's clean and it is reliable. In addition to being mechanically sound and having the "basics" (marine head, fresh water shower, etc) the Ocean Odyssey is the most technologically advanced dive boat on Kauai. It boasts WI-FI, Bluetooth, 27" LED flat screen television, state of the art sonar / depth finder, neon deck lighting, Infinity audio system, IPAD and under boat lighting system for night diving just to name a few of her many other amenities - let's not forget the ice cream truck song playing horn that we just had to have!
Rated for 12 passengers, we never take more than six and try our best to keep it around four! We prefer to provide a fun, personalized and more intimate diving experience for our guests vs. cattle boat, hurry up- get in get out, so we can make more money dive boats.

THE ICE BOX
Named from the ice boxes used for hunting and fishing in the old days, this set of ridges is a local favorite. Scattered caves and numerous overhangs provide plenty of coverage for small, harmless reef sharks and assorted tropical reef fish. This south facing horseshoe shaped reef protects the site from Hawaii's gentle inter-island currents and provides excellent visibility year round. An excellent dive site for your average recreational diver.
Directly in front of Kauai's famous Beach House Restaurant, this site houses a large, submerged arch. This lava formed arch is extremely rare as it is formed by two seperate lava fingers connecting together in mid water! A fantastic photo location, the arch is lit by the reflections of the large school of Blue Stripped Grunts that live under the arch. The top of the reef is around 65 feet which means this is reserved for deep divers. A good dive site.
Named after the look of the current wreck, this sunken freighter has been resting comfortably since the late 1800's. Although it has never been relocated, just her boiler and a few anchors are all that's visible. A horseshoe shaped inlet and small lava tubes on the north and south sides gives this site plenty of coverage for the fish hide to from the commonly seen Dolphins. The direction of the gentle inter-island currents can also allow for some excellent drift dives on the outer side of the horseshoe reef. A great dive site for your average recreational diver.
