Napali translates to “the cliffs.”  No other scenery on Kauai and no other boat tour offers a personalized charter that will leave you breathless and your memory card full.  Offering tours such as whale watching, romantic sunset cruises, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, surf trips, and corporate private hire, Hana Hou Charters aims to give you the experience of a lifetime.

Welcome to Hana Hou Charters, the “Sea for Yourself” experience!

I am Captain Marshall Allen and I’m honored to offer my charter boat service to you, your family, and friends. Be prepared for a unique and unforgettable ocean experience in the beautiful and bountiful waters off Kauai Island.

Whether we spend the day sightseeing the pristine cliffs, waterfalls, and sea caves of the Na Pali Coast or whale watching or deep sea fishing—or we put together an excursion of your design—you have my promise that I’ll do my utmost to provide every passenger with the trip of a lifetime. After all, I’ve spent my own lifetime enjoying the gifts of the sea. What better way to offer my appreciation of Hawai’i’s Garden Island than to share what I’ve experienced with you?

Even with my many years as a mariner (starting in my boyhood on my father’s boat), I continue to marvel at what the ocean has to offer. Every day is a new experience. I’ve spent fifteen years as a sea captain, licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, and still every humpback whale breaching the surface, every spinner dolphin swimming along the bow of the Iwa Keli’i, every ahi we pull on board, gives me a sense of adventure and deep appreciation. We Kaua’ians are truly blessed.

And as I say, I’m honored to share it all with you. Welcome aboard!
