Description

We started Beartooth Bike Tours because we wanted to have fun! We are family owned and operated right here in Red Lodge. If you are looking for a unique outdoor adventure that you will find no where else, you came to the right place!

Doug has been guiding ever since high school.

He started out as Head Wrangler at a Dude ranch in Wyoming and never looked back. He's worked in Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, and Louisiana guiding everything from raft trips to horse trips and beyond.

He is originally from Baton Rouge, LA but has loved and called Red Lodge home for more than 10 years. He is knowledgeable of the history of the area as well as the flora and fauna we will see on our trip.

Suzanna is from Ruston, LA. She is an interior designer and has worked for firms in Dallas, TX and right here in Red Lodge.

After living the swanky city life in Dallas, she met Doug, they got married and he hauled her off to the wilds of Montana.

A lover of the outdoors and one heck of a people person, Suzanna is a natural guide with lots of exciting information on the area and some of the finer shopping in Red Lodge

Morning Ride:

14 miles 3 hours

The Morning Ride meets at 8:00 am at the Adventure Center and heads up. Wildflowers abound on the plateau as we get ourselves prepared to cruise down the hill in the morning sun! The morning ride is beautiful and vehicle traffic is very light. The sun is fully shining on the Beartooth Mountains, giving you an unimpeded view of them in all their grandeur.

When we get done, we'll arrive back at the Adventure Center just in time for lunch and a beer at the Red Lodge Ales Brewery! Check out the menu to see what you would like!

Afternoon Ride:

14 miles 3 hours

Already had plans for the morning? Or did you REALLY sleep in? No problem, we have an afternoon ride too!

We meet at 2:30 pm at the Adventure Center and head up the Beartooth Pass. By the time we get on the bikes, the motorized traffic has really thinned out, and we get a really nice cruise down the road during the warmest part of the day.

We finish up around 5:30 pm, just in time for a beer in the Biergarten and enjoy some dinner in the afternoon sun!

Evening Ride:

14 miles 3 hours

The Evening Ride meets at 6:00pm at the Adventure Co-op and heads up. This is an amazing ride, meant to be as peaceful and relaxing as possible. We will see almost zero vehicle traffic this time of day, the air is warm, the sun is setting, and the wildlife really starts to come back out. This is an amazingly beautiful ride!

When we get done, we'll arrive back at the Adventure Co-op just in time for a late dinner and a beer at the Red Lodge Ales Brewery!
